Arun Ram, MD (MBA), is a distinguished leader with an extensive background that spans fast-paced clinical practice, progressive medical education in the U.S., and pivotal roles in medical affairs and drug safety in big pharma. In addition to being a full Professor of a medical school in Virginia, he serves as a Consultant Medical Director for a rapidly growing CRO and also serves as an elected Board of Regents of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology. Arun brings over a decade of strategic leadership in overseeing critical Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance functions.

Educated at Madurai Medical College, India, and on the verge of graduating with an Executive MBA from Rutgers Business School, NJ, Arun combines rigorous scientific training with sharp business acumen. In his roles at global powerhouses like Pfizer, Ranbaxy, and Novartis, Arun led safety surveillance for globally recognized drug brands. He managed drug safety aspects that included medical review and signal detection. His leadership extends to the academic realm as a respected medical educator at a Virginia medical school, where he has been a pivotal figure in curriculum development, emphasizing clinically oriented education to align with current healthcare demands.
